♦ As per provision of U/s 272B of Income tax Act 1961, a penalty of Rs. 10,000/- can be levied on possession of more than one PAN.

♦ Address update facility in PAN through Aadhaar based eKYC is available free of cost on UTIITSL portal.

♦ If any NRI's PAN is still inoperative, he/she is requested to intimate his/her NRI status along with supporting documents to respective jurisdictional Assessing Officer (JAO). To know the details of JAO, click on 'Know your AO' on e-Filing portal at https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/pre-login/knowYourAO

♦ Applicants who all obtained Instant ePAN card from Income Tax Department's e-filing portal can apply for change/correction using Change Request application through eKYC mode from UTIITSL Portal

♦ Apply for PAN, For Both Physical PAN Card and e-PAN Card, @Rs.107/-
(Rs.1017/- for dispatch outside India)
♦ Apply for e-PAN Card only, No physical PAN Card, @Rs.72/-
(e-PAN Card shall be sent to applicant's e-mail id as per Income Tax Department records)
♦ e-PAN Card is a valid electronic mode document bearing Permanent Account Number (PAN)
♦ Link your Aadhaar with your PAN using any of the following options:
♦ Click here to go to E-filing website for PAN-Aadhaar Linkage
♦ Aadhaar linking with PAN through Biometric mode is now available at UTIITSL Branch Offices.
